I love that moment when you realize,
‘I am worthy of love’ and everything changes
I’m Nancy Andersen, a licensed marriage and family therapist practicing in Los Altos. Think of me as a relationship expert, a hopeful romantic and a passionate believer in therapy’s power to heal and transform.
Research says the key ingredient to effective therapy is the relationship between you and me. Our relationship begins when you first reach out. You may tell me about your struggles or your worries. What do you need most right now? Do you long for new options, possibilities and flexibility?
You deserve a therapist who gets you, respects you and is committed to helping you achieve your goals. As a therapist I prize the moments of connection, the potential for change we all share and the discoveries we make along the way.
Outside the office, I love playing tennis, reading and hiking with my golden retriever, Buckley. I have a family and appreciate the challenges of parenting with and without a partner. After surviving the death of my spouse, I faced the challenge of creating a new life, becoming a therapist drawn to help others in difficult times.
